LU JIA JUN

Send your statements. Pick a time.

One page on the policy you already hold, built from the statements you email me, then 30 minutes where I walk you through it in plain English. It's free, and it's a review of where your policy stands, not a sales meeting. Sometimes the answer is "you're fine without me," and you'll hear that too.

Email your statements

Send your policy statements, back to the start of the policy if you have them, to lujiajun@rep.greateasternfa.sg. Cover your NRIC or FIN, address and phone number first, and please don't send them through Instagram DMs.

Pick a time on WhatsApp

Message me on WhatsApp and I'll send you some times a few days out, so I can build your page first.

I build your page

What you've put in, and what it's worth today. How much of the gain is the market, and how much is the bonus, dividends and fees, which most statements don't add up for you. Where your next premium is going. And the one thing worth a closer look, if there is one.

We go through it together

Thirty minutes on one page, in plain English, and the page is yours to keep. If something looks worth changing, whether to change it depends on things the page doesn't cover, so we'd do a fact-find first. Nothing changes unless you decide it.

It works best today for Great Eastern investment-linked policies. If you don't have statements back to the start of the policy, the parts of the split they can't show are marked not known. For other policies, I'll tell you up front what your documents can and can't show.

Nothing is sold in this call. By regulation, any recommendation needs a full fact-find first, and that's a separate, deliberate step you may never take. A Snapshot is a review, not a replacement, and getting one isn't firing anyone either; if nothing in your policy raises a question, I'll say so and you can stop wondering. I build each page before we speak, which is why slots are limited each month.

The fair question

"Won't the GEFA adviser just find problems?" I represent Great Eastern Financial Advisers, so treat me as a second opinion, not a neutral one. Two things keep me honest. Replacing a policy is heavily regulated: I would have to document in writing why you'd be better off, and much of the time you wouldn't be. And my practice runs on trust, so when nothing in a policy raises a question, I say so, often and gladly.

Pick a time on WhatsApp

Once your statements are on their way, message me and I'll reply with times a few days out, usually within the working day.

Two minutes of prep, and our 30 minutes go a lot further.

Your statements are what I build the page from, so those come first. The fact sheet is optional: if you'd like me to see the rest of your money as well, fill it in and email it back before we talk. Rough figures are fine.

Worth having handy too
  • Any policy documents you hold, with the policy number and latest statement, especially any investment-linked policy.
  • Your latest CPF balances (OA, SA, MA), and SRS if you have one.
  • Recent statements for any other investments, like a brokerage, unit trusts or a robo-adviser.

Lu Jia Jun is a representative of Great Eastern Financial Advisers Private Limited (GEFA). RNF No. LJJ300837068. The Policy Snapshot is a factual summary of what your own statements show, as at their date. It is not a recommendation: nothing is sold during the walkthrough call, and any recommendation is provided only after a proper fact-find.
