Pick a time. Bring a policy.
A Second Read is exactly what it sounds like: a second opinion on what you already hold. Thirty minutes, no slides, no pitch. I tell you in plain English what it's costing you and whether it still fits, including when the answer is "you're fine without me."
You talk, I listen
What you hold, what it costs, and what's been bothering you about it.
I show you what I'd watch
Where the PEAK framework would set its levels in your current policy, in plain English.
You decide, without pressure
If it makes sense to go further, I'll say what that looks like. If it doesn't, I'll say that too.
You leave with it in writing
Every Second Read ends with a one-page Where You Stand sheet: what you hold, what it costs you a year in dollars, and my verdict, keep, fix, or replace. Signed and dated, even when the verdict is "keep everything."
Nothing is sold in this call. By regulation, any recommendation needs a full fact-find first, and that's a separate, deliberate step you may never take. Getting a second read isn't firing anyone either; if what you hold stands up, I'll say so and you can stop wondering. I prepare for each read before we speak, which is why there are eight slots a month, not unlimited.
"Won't the GEFA adviser just find problems?" I represent Great Eastern Financial Advisers, so treat me as a second opinion, not a neutral one. Two things keep me honest. Replacing a policy is heavily regulated: I would have to document in writing why you'd be better off, and much of the time you wouldn't be. And my practice runs on people trusting the verdict, so "keep what you have" is an answer I give often, and gladly.

Two minutes of prep, and our 30 minutes go a lot further.
Fill in the short snapshot and bring it along, or email it back before we talk. Rough figures are completely fine. It is the same fact-find I would otherwise spend the first ten minutes of the call on, so we can use the time on what actually matters to you.
Download the pre-meeting snapshot (Excel)- Any policy documents you hold, with the policy number and latest statement, especially any investment-linked policy.
- Your latest CPF balances (OA, SA, MA), and SRS if you have one.
- Recent statements for any other investments, like a brokerage, unit trusts or a robo-adviser.
